4. Exercise

When you’re healthy, you feel better. Although hundreds of people told me this my entire life, it is something I tended to dismiss. Mostly because it puts our health and happiness squarely on our own shoulders, and it is easier to blame your lack of happiness on everything and everyone around you. Now that exercise is part of my routine, I am amazed by the amount of people who don’t feel any is necessary. Whether or not you are happy with your body has nothing to do with it. Exercise improves health and a healthier you is a happier you. Exercise can be a great pick-me-up, and a way to alleviate stress. Incorporate exercise into your goals. Start light if you are new to it. Some sit-ups or push-ups in the morning, or a short bike ride. I promise you, the more you do it, the more you’ll enjoy it.
