Ralph Lauren is an American business executive, fashion designer, and professional playboy. Lauren is best known for his Ralph Lauren Corporation’s clothing line, which brings is billions of dollars annually from around the globe. Ralph Lauren has defined what is fashionable for nearly five decades. Lauren is one of the richest men in the world, his estimated wealth being over $8 billion. That’s not too bad for the son of poor Jewish immigrants. Lauren has also earned himself quite a name as a collector of rare automobiles, some of which he occasionally allows displayed at museums or auto events. Lauren is also a noted philanthropist, particularly in the cause to fight breast cancer. He is cofounder of the Nina Hyde Center for Breast Cancer Research at Georgetown University in 1989, and a driving force in industry campaigns for breast cancer awareness.
