“No! Try not. Do, or do not. There is no try.”
George Lucas is an American screenwriter, film producer and director, and entrepreneur. He founded Lucasfilm, a company which he chaired for nearly 40 years before selling it to the Walt Disney Company for $4.06 billion. Lucas is best known for his Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises, which to this day rake in untold fortunes in merchandise sales. They are two of the most popular movie franchises ever. In addition to this, Lucas developed and marketed THX sound systems, which led the industry in theater and home audio. Though Lucas is no longer involved, both his franchises will live on for some time, as both Star Wars and Indiana Jones are slated to get new treatments.
