Steve Case is an American businessman and former chief executive and chairman of America Online, and internet service provider which pioneered the sale of home internet to the American market. AOL grew into an internet service provider giant and would eventually be merged with Time Warner. Steve Case served as CEO of AOL Time Warner until he stepped down in 2003. Since then he has remained active in the business world through his new investment company Revolution. In 2011, Case was tapped by President Barack Obama to sit on the President’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness.
