“One more drink, please.”—the last words of Jack Daniel

Jasper “Jack” Newton Daniel was an American distiller and founder of America’s beloved Jack Daniel’s Tennessee whiskey distillery. Jack’s sour mash No. 7 and other varieties are among the most drinking liquors in the United States, especially in Tennessee. Daniel’s whiskey offers a unique flavor, boldness, and quality without the top shelf price. Other knock off brands such a Evan William’s have tried to replicate Jack’s taste, to little avail. Today Jack Daniel’s Distillery produces 11 million cases a year, and brings in over $121 million in sales. Not too bad for a company with only 368 employees. The company is still based where it began, in Lynchburg, Tennessee.
