22. Open a Savings Account
It is pretty surprising that every young person who is graduating from college does not necessarily have a savings account. If you do not have one, then choose a bank to open one as soon as possible. Once opened, minimize the total number of options that you have to withdraw money from the account so that it is more difficult to pull money out of the account should you get tempted to do so later without having to go through deliberate steps to validate the need for the withdrawal. Saving money is similar to paying the rent or electric bill and will help one accumulate money for later in life.
