9. Brushing your teeth
In Massachusetts (the place that tracks your garbage), children in daycare are mandated under the law to brush their teeth after lunch. This isn’t a suggestion or a policy, it is the actual law, because… I guess plaque is a serious problem. The state even provided toothbrushes, holders, and toothpaste. One can’t help but imagine kids trying to fake it and teachers checking to see if their toothbrush is wet with stern faces. Is there a law about washing hands after using the bathroom? Because if we’re going to bring the state into the bathroom for anything… Really though, Massachusetts is like one step away from just raising all of its resident’s children in state-sanctioned nurseries. It’s better off, lest one of these parents not teach their children how to properly sort their garbage.
