10. Umar Patek
Umar Patek was the mastermind behind the 2002 Bali bombing in Indonesia, that saw more than 200 people dead. Previously he was involved in the attacks on churches in Jakarta, which killed 19 people on Christmas eve, in the year 2000. He had been involved with the militant group Jemaah Islamiya, which has links to Al-Qaeda and Taliban. With a huge bounty of one million dollars placed on his head, he had been evading capture until January 25, 2011, when he was arrested in the Pakistani city of Abbotabad, the same place where Osama Bin Laden was hiding. He was then prosecuted, and found guilty of charges upon him. He managed to avoid the death penalty, however, and was sentenced to 20 years of jail.
